Our Leadership

Len is a husband of 33 years and father of five, a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend of many worldwide. He accepted God’s salvation through Jesus Christ when he was a teenager.

Dr. Billings became the Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church of Golden in 2010. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Bible College, his master's from Dallas Theological Seminary and 30 years later he earned his Doctor of Ministry (DMin) from Denver Seminary.

He has been involved in many facets of church ministry starting as an associate pastor in a start up church in Garland Texas. He and his wife, Coni, moved to Colorado to start a church in 1991. Then he transitioned into youth ministry. He has been a worship leader, and served as a church planter in four different church start-ups. He is now the Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church of Golden -- the first Baptist church started in Colorado on August 1, 1863.

Len and his wife Coni, live in Lakewood, Colorado. And enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and training a future service dog named Cooper.
